Meet the Founder
Mick
Founder
At just 8 years old, Mick was already roaming the heathlands with his father, searching for adders and grass snakes. Not long after, he bought his first red rat snake at a reptile expo. By age 10, he even convinced his teacher to let him keep a snake in class: a gray rat snake. More soon followed.
He has remained a true reptile enthusiast ever since. When he left his parents' home for student housing, it wasn't long before a terrarium with a ball python stood in the living room. That was 14 years ago, and he still has that python today. Nowadays, Mick maintains a serious breeding collection of over 20 ball pythons.
With all those years of experience in the reptile world, Mick saw how fragmented the market was: scattered across social media, forums, and expos. That was the inspiration for ReptiPlace, a modern, trustworthy marketplace specifically for reptile enthusiasts, where both beginners and experienced breeders can find what they need.
